Company Treasures

Below are descriptions and pictures, where available, of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights treasures stored in Ironmongers Hall. The original listing was made by Mr S.E. Tomkins OBE, Liveryman and his wife in 1977 when the Company moved from the Baltic Exchange to its current premises.  This work developed further by the Honorary Historian, Mr David I Moor, Liveryman and Past Prime Warden to whom all credit should be given for researching, confirming and cataloguing the items shown.

Some entries remain without photographs but in an effort to make them available for the livery to view they have been listed all the same.  New amendments and pictures will continue to be added as they become available but it is hoped that the treasures, which have been largely unseen, will now have the opportunity to be admired by all.
