Assistant’s gowns
Twenty two Assistant’s gowns
Blue cloth, trimmed with black velvet at cuffs, with embroidered company coat of arms on left sleeve. Purchased 1955. Coats of arms by Ede and Ravenscroft, London, added 1984 and subscribed for by the assistants to the court at that date.
One gown has yellow facings down the front, and was so altered for Clifford Baylis, Clerk, on his election to the Court.
