Shipwrights Company and Maritime Skills Alliance join forces…

The Maritime Skills Alliance (MSA) recently launched an industry-wide apprenticeship pledge campaign. Covid-19 has inevitably affected opportunities for young people. The MSA’s campaign asked maritime employers to show their commitment to young people by publicly signing the Apprenticeship Pledge.

There are two pledge statements:

• We pledge to do everything we can to keep our apprentices in their jobs
• We pledge to do everything we can to stick with the next phase of our apprenticeship recruitment programme
