Youth Adventure Trust – Thank you Shipwrights

In February 2026 the Education and Charity Committee approved a grant of £2,000 to the Youth Adventure Trust to enable 5 young people to attend the Trust’s Coastal Camp 2026.  The Office received an email stating:

I am delighted to pass on a thank you to The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights on behalf of everyone at the Youth Adventure Trust for your generous grant and to confirm that the funds have been safely received into our bank account. Please find the letter attached here.

Youth Adventure Trust confirmed that the funds will be used to support the Trust’s charitable mission: for vulnerable young people to fulfil their potential through outdoor adventure and lead positive lives in the future.  The funding will play a vital role in helping young people build the confidence, skills and resilience to face the challenges in their lives.  Youth Adventure Trust sent the following photographs of Coastal Camp 2025 to give a flavour of what the 2026 cohort can expect.
