Shipwrights’ vs Ironmongers’ Golf – 17 June 2021

In a closely fought battle a team of six stalwart Shipwrights triumphed over the Ironmongers at Kingswood, Surrey to reclaim the Trophy which will be suitably engraved to properly reflect our renewed glory.   The attached photo is of the Ironmongers’ Captain handing the trophy over to the Shipwrights’ Captain.

It was a beautiful day in good company, the Course was in fine condition and the Club provided us with a decent lunch.  The Shipwrights furnished six players and the points margin of victory was only 3% with some high scores achieved on both sides.  An excellent day.
