Report from the Disabled Sailors’ Association

The Disabled Sailors’ association has sent the following message and a report on their activities utilising the award of £1,000 made by the Education and Charity Committee in June 2020, which can be found here.

In July 2020, the Shipwrights Charitable Fund Trustees were very generous and provided a contribution of £1,000 towards our sail training scheme for young people.  At the time of the donation, a request for a report was made but no date was given – the report was due ‘in due course’.

Now that we have completed our 2021 Summer Sailing Scheme we are in a position to report back as to how the money was spent and we have put the information in a brief document which is now attached.
