Prime Warden’s Visit to City of London Sea Cadets

Last night the Prime Warden, Laura Bugden ACIS ACII, conducted a visit to, and inspection of, the City of London Sea Cadet Detachment who are based on HMS BELFAST and are sponsored by the Company. During the visit the Prime Warden presented CPO (SCC) Paul Townsend with a certificate and bronze medal in recognition of his service as the Shipwrights’ Company’s Honorary Bargemaster over the last twenty years. She also presented hard-earned badges and plaques to a number of the Sea Cadets on parade.

This was Laura’s final visit as Prime Warden and it could not have been a more fitting one! Congratulations to Paul and all of the Cadets and thank you City of London Sea Cadets for your extremely warm welcome, particularly the President, Lord Mountevans, the Chairman Dan Wells, and the CO, Sub Lt Ben MacDonald.
