Opening of Port Edgar Boat Station – Thank you from the Sea Cadets

The Company received the following message from Martin Coles CBE, Chief Executive of MSSC.

The opening of Port Edgar Boat Station on 1 April was a tremendous success, which we hope those able to attend would agree with. It is the latest of our residential boat stations to come into service and it will support the training of cadets for years to come.  Photographs of the day can be found here

This was our first event with Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal attending as Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps in person. It was also our first majorengagement following the pandemic and I am delighted that it went so well, I am only sorry that I could not be there to share the day with you (due to Covid-19).

At Sea Cadets, we are truly committed to providing young people with the best head start in life, giving them a new perspective, broadening horizons and creating new and exciting opportunities. Our aim is to help more young people seek the future they want and give them the chance to make that future happen. This new facility will help achieve that for so many.

Thank you once again for your support.
