Making Waves with MACS – 2025 Impact Report

The Company received the following message and attachments from Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia & Coloboma Support (MACS) to whom the E&C donated £2,000 in 2024-25 and a further £1,800 in June 2025.  MACS have contacted all members featured in the report and have confirmed they have objection to our posting the report on the website.

Dear Shipwrights,

As promised, I am delighted to share your copy of Making Waves with MACS – our 2025 impact report from the recent MACS sailing trip, along with a MACS Certificate – Shipwrights of appreciation for you to display with pride.

Thanks to your grant, 12 lives were truly transformed on this year’s voyage. The trip provided not only adventure and independence but also lifelong memories and friendships for the young people and families who joined us. None of this would have been possible without you.

The success of the 2025 trip has inspired us to start planning for 2026 already, and we would love to have you ‘onboard’ once again as part of this journey.

Thank you once more for your commitment to helping young people born with MACS discover their potential and grow in confidence.
