Disabled Sailors Association members set for RYA qualifications

In June the Education and Charity Committee awarded the Disabled Sailors Association £1,900.  DSA’s vision is to allow all disabilities the ability to participate, rather than spectate, no matter the complexity of needs.  Their mission is to give people of any type of disability the freedom to explore their ability, potential and place through inclusive sailing adventures.

 

The Shipwrights’ grant will be used to help 5 young people achieve Royal Yacht Association qualifications.  DSA has written on behalf of the beneficiaries to let the Company know how much they appreciate its continued support of our their work.  The letter can be found here.
