Deal Museum – Boatyard Transformation Project

In October 2025 the Education and Charity Committee awarded Deal Museum £500 towards an ambitious community-led project to redevelop the museum courtyard into a dedicated community and educational space.  The project has regenerated a disused boatyard and when complete will transform it into a vibrant maritime and heritage-focused community space, providing long-term public benefit through education, engagement, and local participation.  The report from Deal Museum is here.   Photographs of the work are below with a photograph of the visit by the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, better known to us as the Immediate Past Prime Warden:
