Congratulations Prime Warden!

At the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights’ Installation Court this evening Mr Nick Shaw was installed as Prime Warden for the year 2023-24, by his predecessor Laura Bugden ACIS.
Laura stated that it had been an enormous privilege to lead the Company over the past year and wished her successor every good fortune and success in his year as Prime Warden.
Nick Shaw stated that he was extremely honoured to have been installed as Prime Warden in direct succession to Laura, the Shipwrights’ first ever female Prime Warden. He remarked upon her wit, charm, professionalism and enthusiasm, noting that the Company had benefitted greatly from her leadership and involvement in the wider Livery movement.
