A Postcard from Ocean Youth Trust Scotland

One of the annual or ‘Standard Donations’ the Shipwrights’ Company makes is to Ocean Youth Trust Scotland who receive a grant of £5,000 to help them achieve their aims through their Assisted Berth Scheme.

OYT Scotland uses its award-winning voyages to help young people develop and “discover their potential through the medium of sail training, pushing their knowledge, teamwork and adaptability to the limits.”

Recently they took young people from Charleston Academy on a 7-day youth work voyage and their post voyage comments were forwarded on a postcard which is here.
