 This cup, and (024/1890), were presented in 1890 by Captain George Chapman, late 3rd. Middlesex Militia, and his brothers in memory of their late brother Henry Chapman, who had won them at  the Thames National Regattas in 1843 and 1845 respectively.  Subsequently Captain Chapman was presented with the Freedom of the Company ” as some acknowledgement of his liberality and kindness”.

Silver chased two handled cup without cover.  Weight: 22ozs.   Height: 9 ins.  Made by Edward, Edward Jn., John & W Barnard,London, 1845.
